Soak your chicken in tepid salted water. Check the water from time to time. If it is too cold, bring the temp back to tepid. Make sure you use enough salt. If you have pieces of chicken, pull them apart when you can do it easily. If it is a whole chicken, the first thing you should try to do is remove the bag of giblets. One this is out your chicken will thaw out much quicker.
