well since he was your first, i understand why you would want to stay in touch with him. but it seems like he is using you. you should just give him some time and stop trying to contact him to see if he will come around. if he doesn't, then forget about it. not everybody is friends with their first loves. and if he is hurting you, then he is not worth it.
