The game "Driver" for the Game boy color won't play on my gba sp.?

All of the other gbc games work fine, and i've already tried blowing in it. When I put the game in and turn it on, it just shows the "gameboy" start screen and stays there. The "Nintendo" isn't beside the trademark sign underneath the "gameboy" either. Thank you to anyone who answers.
